– Beware not to scratch or rub your product against abrasive surfaces, especially the leather trim.
– As they have a natural treatment, the exotic skins must imperatively be protected from humidity. Keep them away from water or from any other liquid that could alter the leather’s texture or color. If your product does get wet, you can dab it dry with a lint-free, light-colored and absorbent cloth.
– Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, keep your product away from any direct source of heat (radiators, car interiors overheated by the sun, etc).
– Avoid contact with greasy substances, cosmetics, perfume, and hydroalcoholic solutions, as well as any material (magazines, other leathers, etc.) that may transfer their colored pigments onto the product.
– In order to protect your product when you are not using it, store it in the felt protective pouch provided.
Specific care instructions:
Crocodile, python and lizard skins are particularly sensitive to humidity and heat. We recommend that you avoid any cleansing cream or product that would deeply stain your product. In case of superficial stains, you may use a clear, dry and soft cloth. These species are protected by the Washington convention: in certain cases, a CITES of exportation accompanies the product.

The leather used in this product comes from a tannery audited and certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), which is the highest environmental standard in terms of leather tanning. This standard requires tanneries to reduce their water and energy consumption, as well as their use of potentially hazardous substances. The tanneries we work with are located in Europe and are committed partners who work with us in our efforts for responsible sourcing and continuous improvement (implementation of material traceability systems, fighting against deforestation practices).
PACKAGING
Louis Vuitton’s signature packaging is inspired by oldest trunks: the “Imperial Saffron” color calls up to long and distant voyages, whilst our historic VVN leather color elegantly coats the inside of our boxes.
Issued from sustainable, FSC-certified forests and including 40% of recycled fibers, our boxes offer the convenience of travel by folding flat to ease transportation, which significantly reduces their carbon footprint.
